This session led by Beth Hoag at the College of Education at Illinois will explore the findings from a qualitative case study on collaboration between student affairs and academic libraries.

Speaker: Beth Hoag

Collaboration is an ever-increasing imperative in higher education. Prior research on collaboration between student affairs and academic affairs has shown numerous benefits, yet few investigations have explored partnerships between student affairs and academic libraries. This session will explore the findings from a qualitative case study on collaboration between these units. Participants will learn the potential benefits and barriers to collaboration with libraries and explore best practices to pursue such partnerships.
