Itrat Sultan is earning her PhD in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership (EPOL) at Illinois, with concentrations in History of Education and Social Sciences and Education Policy. Itrat is a critical interpretivist scholar interested in immigrant education and the experiences of South Asian and Asian American communities. Her research examines how people understand their place within educational spaces and how those experiences shape over time.
